Do different countries have different parts numbers?
Yes, parts have different numbers in different countries. Most part sellers won't sell you the part cept you tell them the VIN #, Year and Model. This helps to identify where your car was made. Shocks are basically the same cept for the extreme ends that could be thin or broad so you may want to remove yours and describe the end points to your contact in the States before making the purchase.
