Knocking front suspension?

Wonder if anyone can help, I have a 2001 Toyota Celica 190. It developed what I can only describe as a knocking/cracking sound from the front of the car. I replaced both front shock absorbers thinking that was the problem since one side did have a severe leak, but no. When i bounce the front passenger side, it makes a creaking noise which it did before changing the shocks too. it doesn't do this on the driver side. When driving at low speed it just constantly knocks and cracks, more so when i turn the car. At motorway speed it still knocks, but not quite so badly or loudly. It doesn't make a noise at all if i turn the wheels when stationary though. Some friends and family reckon the noise is coming from the front passenger side, but i'm not so sure. Its hard to tell when driving, but i actually think the noise it coming from both sides, directly under the car. The car was sitting with very little use for a while too, not sure what damage this may have caused. Has anyone any idea what it could be? Bushings? Ball Joints? CV Joint? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.

sounds like the springs. the rubber mounts for the springs could be worn out. it also could be the sway bar bushings too. when they wear out they will make a banging noise on the frame.

I'd get a complete front end check, because it could be a bad stabilizer mount, broken strut saddle, spring, or lots of other things. Anything on here is a guess at best. good luck
